What is Jev helps people understand Jev, assess where it might fit, and find the official resources needed to try it. We focus on useful explanations, concrete workflows, and visible limits.

This is an independent educational website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TypeSafe AI. Jev and TypeSafe AI names identify the product and its creator. For access, billing, or account support, use the official TypeSafe website.

Our goal is to make a new interface understandable without asking readers to accept marketing claims as their own results. A useful introduction should explain both what a model returns and what the surrounding application still has to do.

Four evidence labels

We have not published independent quality or performance benchmarks. Functional checks of this website do not establish model accuracy. Live Playground responses are identified separately from authored illustrations, official examples and community reports.

Community research covers selected channels and discussions within a dated window. It is not a complete server archive, and absence of a response in a captured exchange does not mean there was no response elsewhere. Linked Discord messages may require login or community access.

Editorial principles

Link the claim to its source. Use primary documentation for API behavior and pricing. Keep a source’s limits attached to the claim.
Keep evidence categories distinct. A vendor example remains a vendor example after translation. A community anecdote does not become our test.
Explain the application boundary. A model recommendation is separate from authorization, execution, and the observed outcome.
Preserve uncertainty. Missing information is not proof that a feature is absent. A valid output is not proof that the decision is correct.
Avoid unsupported comparisons. Discuss evaluation conditions and practical tradeoffs; do not turn a launch multiplier into a universal promise.
Publish only the material needed. Prefer short paraphrases and traceable links over copied conversations, account details, or attachments.

These principles also govern corrections. If a source changes, the correction should explain which product statement changed rather than quietly presenting an old example as a current result.

Dates, translations, and corrections

Each guide shows when its sources were reviewed. That date records an editorial check, not continuous monitoring. Product access, pricing, model aliases, and documented behavior can change after it.

The English edition is the factual baseline for the translated guides. All 12 reading languages share source links, example values, and evidence labels. API identifiers and example payloads remain technical strings. The language selector describes the website’s coverage, not Jev’s supported languages or tested quality in those languages.

If a translated statement conflicts with the linked source, verify the source and the example’s model version before relying on it. Corrections should be applied consistently across the affected editions. Our limitations page collects material uncertainties that should remain visible in every language.

Using this website

You can read the guides without creating an account. This site does not issue API keys, manage TypeSafe’s waitlist, or offer an email subscription. The pricing calculator estimates costs locally in your browser; it does not send its inputs to Jev.

The website’s production configuration supports Cloudflare Web Analytics. When enabled, its beacon collects aggregate traffic and performance information as described in Cloudflare’s data-collection documentation. External links take you to another service, where that service’s practices apply.

Your input stays out of our research

Running sends your text, question, rules and option names to TypeSafe. We do not store them on our server or publish them. Do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information.

Saving is optional. One draft per language stays only in this browser for up to 7 days; expired drafts are removed when you return. Shared devices can expose saved drafts. Results are never saved to browser storage.

A first-party cookie expires at midnight in Shanghai. Daily hashed security counters expire after two days, request status after seven days, and aggregate counts after 90 days. These records contain no input text or model results. After a successful human verification, a separate first-party cookie remembers that verification for up to 30 minutes. Changing networks or clearing cookies may require verification again.

We count page views, expanded cases, 30 seconds of visible reading, template loads, demo starts and completions, copied share links and continued reading. Events include the event type, page, language and task, plus only registered content, template and source-article IDs and a broad source category. They do not contain your text, questions, rules, results, raw referrer, full URLs or complete UTM parameters. A copied link does not prove a public share.

To connect a visit with a broad source category, this tab’s sessionStorage temporarily holds only the category and day. It resets on a new day and is cleared when the tab session ends. A source-article ID comes from a registered link and stays in page context rather than browser storage. We add no long-lived visitor identifier. This is separate from the optional local draft described above.

Guide updates

2026-09-18 — This edition adds six practical topics with direct links to editable, single-question templates. Sources and translations are reviewed together across all 12 reading languages. The examples are original teaching material; they are not reproductions of community experiments or independent quality benchmarks.
